Don't Even Blink
Fed up with her brother's inventions always disappearing, Candace enlists the help of everyone in the neighbourhood to build and watch a big and obvious invention, that they might finally see exactly what happens to everything. Meanwhile, is it mime? No, it's Doofenshmirtz' new Invisibility Ray.

Re: Don't Even Blink
I have to say, I think this is my favorite episode so far of season 2 (well - depending on whether or not we're counting Phineas and Ferb Get Busted as season 1 or season 2 - because that one is definitely my favorite episode overall). It was an original, and very entertaining idea.
Perhaps one of the reasons I find it most amusing is that the writers (God, I love them) have finally hung a lantern on the fact that Phineas and Ferb's inventions disappear every day, and yet they never seem to question the fact that it's gone! It sure helps with clean-up! And of course Phineas is all too excited to discover where indeed his creations go, and thus the episode is born!
The Doofenshmirtz and Perry part was perhaps a tad boring, and while it wasn't my favorite fight sequence (it's extremely difficult to live up to the standard in "Backyard Acquarium") the turning invisible and non-invisible part was entertaining, my favorite part was when Perry through a chair through the invis-inator and then it hit Doof in the head I didn't see THAT coming! The invisible tiger was also quite entertaining. Do you feel any biting or clawing? XD Love it!
Unfortunately, the whole invis-inator on the day Candace was trying to find out where the stuff went was a tad predictable - of course the ray was going to hit the thing right when Mom came home, but then they did more than make it disappear - with the whole disappearing and reappearing only to have it disintigrate in the end. It was predictable, but there were elements in it I did not expect either, which really redeemed this fact in my eyes.
The ending was brilliant, just as Candace thinks she's really going to bust her brothers, she just ends up looking more like a crazy person than ever. I was cracking up the entire scene where she was dancing around in the driveway and then cackling as she ran through the back yard with a can of paint. Though I feel so bad for her seeming insane, I also get an endless amount of pleasure from watching it. XD
Finally, the song was also one of my favorites from Season 2 - very catchy, I've listened to it perhaps a dozen times or so (and have it memorized, naturally). Far better lyrically and sound-wise than "My Wettest Friend", "A Perfect Day", etc. Not quite as good as the song in the episode that follows, but still amazing.
I believe I assigned it 9.5/10 on tv.com - my favorite/second favorite from season 2.

Re: Don't Even Blink
First, "At Last!" is the season 1 finale.
I kinda saw it coming as well with how the episode would end, however as usual they managed to give it a final twist, with Candace going even more crazy about how it must be some sort of switch in the driveway, heheh.
The ENTIRE scene with Perry and Doofenshmirtz from the second he started using the cup against the rails had me laughing, I so saw it coming when Perry would follow his voice, I do think it's a slight waste that the invisible tiger didn't partially eat the chair or something, but oh well.
I didn't see it coming (intended but no pun) when the disintigration ray suddenly came into play, that sure added another dimension, now whenever I think of someone saying Candace is crazy, an image of her throwing a bucket of paint into nothing is the first thing that comes to mind.

Re: Don't Even Blink
I liked it. It was consistently good and both plots were great imo. A overall good episode. One of my favorite little things was the 'BUST Shedule' on Candace's wall with it's complex routes like a bus route map

I think this episode was alright........I had good expectations but it was not as good......I did like the concept of the episode, but did not really like the episode at all, except for Candace going crazy and such. It was a decent epsidode, but could have been better.

I liked the idea of the episode as well, but it was a tad boring. Still, the song was really good. I'm downloading it onto my iPod as I type.

Well... you're not, are you?
Aaaanyways, am I the only one who really liked the song in this one? "We're watchin'... and we're waitin'..." It was so catchy!
Also loved the whole "switch in the driveway" bit. Candace looked like she was doing some sort of wacky dance while she was trying to figure out where it was!
And:
"You'll see! You'll all see! Ahahahaha!"
*throws paint*
*paint falls onto grass*
*anticlimactic moment*
The fight scene in which only various parts of Perry and Doofy's bodies were showing was hilarious. The headless Perry was a bit disturbing though, not gonna lie.

"It's back! It's gone! It's back! It's gone!"
And no, you're not alone, the song was exceptional. Favorite part of the entire thing.
...and, as I type, the PaF theme song's playing on TV.

I can see Candace going absolutely nuts over trying to find out why things disappear. Then again, she needs to take a chill pill.

Well, the song was not bad........maybe if I listen to it again, I might like it. Not one of my top songs though.

Re: Don't Even Blink
As soon as I heard that song, I downloaded it. It's in my top 5 (With "I'm Fabulous" taking up the number 1 spot).
Candace comes up with a good idea to actually watch where the boy's invention goes...then it backfires with her mom thinking that Candace is a psycho. Like Neerav said, Candace needs to take a chill pill.
I found the duel between Doof and Perry very entertaining. The invisible tiger bit was funny and the whole fight was awesome.

Re: Don't Even Blink
I'd be interested in seeing how they animated it, I'm sure it would have been a lot easier with today's tech, but that was still a pretty tricky scene to do, I reckon, everything going invisible "Oh, well that came out of nowhere."

The part where Doofy had to fight the invisible tiger was pretty funny, I admit. I ahd to watch it again just to laugh at poor Dr. Doofenschmirtz.

It is a good song, and I did enjoy the episode, though, from a psychological standpoint, I think Candace is loosing it, and I mean really LOSING it. For her next trick, she will start seeing dead people (sarcasm).

And then Ferb's closing line "Well, we all did see it, and quantum theory states ..." got me in stitches!
