    Post by Roy42 Tue May 19, 2009 2:08 am

If you've managed to get this far in life and not have seen at least one of them, I'll have to abduct your parents for keeping you far too sheltered. You know, titles like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life, The Incredibles, WALL•E *cough*best*cough*, discuss these movies and upcoming Disney/Pixar movies here.

All further discussion of Disney/Pixar movies is to be placed here.

I've never actually seen WALL-E *shot* It's not my fault! My parents refuse to rent/buy it because it 'looks stupid' Grrrrrr..... My cousin owns it though, sometime during the summer I'll probably watch it down there.

My parents just don't understand the brilliancy and cutest of robot love. I've seen clips on Youtube, and even those minute long clips were beyond adorable. Gaaah...my parents annoy me sometimes.

Ah, the same dilemma I have with my parents regarding purchasing the PaF video game. Siiiiigh....

Ah, WALL•E. Definitely up there in my list of top favorite Pixar movies. Shortly after watching it I went outside and took a 5-mile jog.

My mother hated it; she said she was lost due to the lack of dialogue. I thought it was awesome, though I don't appreciate the overt moral of enviornmentalism.

Pixar has come out with some good stuff. A lot of people said that the movie "Up", as well as "Toy Story" and "The Incredibles" were good. I was not really big on Wall-E at all, and was not good compared to say "Up" or "Toy Story". We will see what else Pixar comes out with, but for now, I only se a handful of thier movies as worth watching, such as the ones that I mentioned already.

I have to say, "Up!" has so far completely blown all other new releases for me out of the water, including Transformers 2 and Terminator and the like. The emotional kick to the face in the first 15 minutes alone were so incredible and such a thing is almost unseen in media these days.

The movie "Up", from what I have seen and heard, was terrific. Pixar did a good job here with the film, and I applaud them for it. The worst can be "Wall-E", which I did not find at all interesting. What Pizar will do next is unknown, though if I do see new possible Pixar movies coming out, I will post them here.

I was pretty much crying through the entire second half of the movie - and of course the beginning. It's not my favorite Pixar (and I have seen every single one) but I thought it was excellent. I may actually have to rank them all eventually so I can figure out what my top 3 are...

I didn't cry or get choked up, but unlike any movie for a long, long, long time, or possibly even at all, I actually gave a crap about the main character, Carl, and cared about his position.

Now if something ever makes me care I usually have to go and pour myself a glass of water to do a spit-take and then rub my eyes in disbelief from the sheer improbability of it, so take that as a gauge on how I found the movie to be.

As I said in another thread, the new Disney movie "G-Force" looks lame. I mean.......I wonder is this is as low as Disney can go with crappy movies?

Oh and G-Force,well animal spies really aren't interesting to me..I think Cats and Dog's was the only decent one I've seen.

Aww, but Dug's a sweetie not-so-deep down. Razz

G-Force isn't a Pixar film, and thus is able to be bad. As for Cats and Dogs....not a Pixar film either, but I vaguely remember seeing that when I was around six and being bored by it. xD

Me too. I saw WALL-E at camp, and it was amazing. Gotta remember to pick that up on DVD sometime. I'm also watching Toy Story 2 for the first time in at least three years. I've forgotten how much I love this movie.

And what to make of Disney's recent acquisision of Marvel? Let's hope Disney does not screw up any of the Marvel or Disney characters, so see some stupid Disney/Pixar films with some Marvel characters or hybrids of sorts (which is not likely to happen, but you never know). That was REALLY ruin things!

If there ever were Disney films with Marvel characters (which would be... bad, I'm sure), I'm willing to bet... pretty much anything, that they would just be Disney, not Disney/Pixar.

Because really, when has ever Pixar done anything that isn't a completely original idea?

Pixar... Pixar is amazing. People laugh when I tell them that my favorite movies are anything Pixar, but I've never seen an action movie more exciting than Up, a romance movie sweeter than WALL-E, and, and then there's Cars and Finding Nemo and geez I need to watch these again!

I heard Cars was a 100% rip off of a 1990's film with almost the exact same plot...

Wait, was that the one with the little coupe or something (the 90's one) ? I believe I saw part of that, she would be setting on display "flirting" with passer by-ers (sp?). Razz
