    Monogram/Carl Empty Monogram/Carl

    Post by Roy42 Sun Jul 12, 2009 2:07 pm

Major Monogram is Agent P's superior and apparent head of The Agency, who assigns Perry with his daily mission, however when Monogram is occasionally incapacitated, Carl will step in to deliver the mission to the platypus. Carl is an intern working for Monogram, likely the only intern, who works the camera for Monogram and Perry to communicate on their briefings, cooks meals for Monogram, and performs general monotonous intern tasks. Monogram and Carl have an interesting relationship, as is any relationship between a boss and employee; Carl is almost always searching for recognition from Monogram, always looking for his opportunity to prove his worth as more than just an intern, and while Monogram will usually be looking down on him and ignoring his work, Carl never ceases his dedication to the job at hand.

I love it when Carl does things that either make Major Monogram mad or embarass him. I forgot which episode it was, but Carl forgot to zoom into Monogram, revealing that he was wearing boxer shorts. How embarassing could that be? Carl's antics in the episode "Traffic Cam Caper" were also quite funny.

The interactions between the two characters are very amusing, abliet for only a short time.

    Is Carl spelt with a K or a C?

    With a C I'm pretty sure.

Well for one thing, neither Wikipedia or the PaF Wiki are valid sources here, but it is a C, despite the K used in the credits up until 2 of the new episodes.

I always loved Carl. I thought he would never have much of a role until he had his own song as the Undercover Carl. I couldn't stop laughing for five minutes straight.
