Perry
Perry, to the rest of the world, is a mindless domestic pet platypus that doesn't do much but wander off everyday. To a select few people, he is known as Agent P, the best of the best secret agents, his daily goal: Stop Doofenshmirtz. After he whips on his fedora and slips undetected into his lair, he is briefed by his boss and the highest known authority in "The Agency", Major Monogram, or his intern Karl, to whatever dastardly plan Doofenshmirtz has in store, Agent P is fast, stealthy, a master of disguise and a force to be reckoned with, however he still cares for his owners' safety, even if it's only as a part of the protection of his identity.

Re: Perry
Ah yes. Perry the platypus. Upstanding character imo. From his cool hat and theme tune to the bizarre and hilarious plots he gets caught up in, Perry never fails to amuse me. I might not go all fanboy on Perry but he is certainly imo a worthy character, and one of the better characters in cartoons of this decade.

Re: Perry
My favorite thing about Perry, unlike the last superspy/superhero that was on a Disney cartoon, he doesn't give an absurd amount of lip, I know it's because he doesn't talk, but still, he has respect, he doesn't make a joke out of what he does, he's on the game and always focused, be it when he's kicking butt as a "Suave, semi-aquatic personification of unstoppable dynamic fury" or when he's protecting the agency, himself, and the boys as the mindless pet. I hold him in high regard.

Re: Perry
I love how Perry seems to know that people are watching him too. He comes close to breaking the fourth wall quite often, when he finds himself in an odd situation, and he looks at the camera with that narrowed-eye, "yeah, look what I have to put up with" expression.

Re: Perry
Well it's not really a "look what I have to put up with" sort of look, it's just kind of a look that says "sigh" to the audience, though I like his actual sigh much more.

yeah his sigh was great. *people stare at me*
I also like beer and rugby and laughing at gays.
Srsly though i like Perry. He's a great character. He reminds me of an animal version of Kim Possible.

Re: Perry
Perry's sigh was one of the cutest sounds ever. I would've squealed when I heard it, if it weren't for the fact that I only squeal in extreme circumstances.
Not gonna ask...
He actually doesn't remind me of Kim Possible at all. Not as annoyingly sarcastic (though he does roll his eyes from time to time.) He reminds me more of an animal James Bond... cool and focused.

Yeah, I'm sure you mentioned it back aboveground before.
And about those subliminal messages, sorry, but my telepathy link is down for awhile.

Re: Perry
I like Perry alot.......his dual identity as a mindless domesticated animal and a secret agent makes his character very interesting.......on the one hand, he ahs to stop Doofty, but yet, struggle to make sure he is not outed. Interesting indeed.

Re: Perry
I like how he's much more of a skilled magician than Doofenshmirtz, considering he can hide things behind his back in the same fashion that Link in the Zelda games hides all of his 50 items somewhere in his tunic. But Perry has no clothes apart from his space warping hat, so it's even more impressive.

I was supposed to keep it a secret! LOL! But I do like him for what I mentioned in my previous post.......it makes the show and the episodes interesting nonetheless.tiggertine wrote:You're....you're Perry?! Re: Perry
If i was a girl i'd like Perry in the same fashion eeemeee and tiggertine do. As i'm not i do like him... but in more of a 'Hey Perry old chap, want to play darts with me old boy?' fashion to a 'OMG It's Perry He is so cute' fashion. But i guess both fashions indicate a liking of the character in question at any rate.

Re: Perry
My sort of liking is more of a "Dude, that guy kicks, ASS!" than a "Hi old chap." sort of thing.

Re: Perry
Well, I don't really squeal and go "OMG Perry huggletiems" that often. Sure, I do have my fangirl moments, like "cute little platypus foot" incident, but I often pretend to be more of a fangirl than I actually am... because it's fun. I would really rather play darts with Perry than... attack him in a slightly disturbing fashion, or anything.

Whenever I have my Perry fangirl moments, I go into convulsions, make noises like I'm in pain, and start screaming. More than once people have tried to get medical assistance for me. xD

Re: Perry
Too bad for Perry, some of the latest schemes by Dr. Doofenschmirtz are so bad that Perry does not even want to waste his time with them. I mean, the one where Doofy talks to whales.......why would Perry even bother trying to stop something that is so stupid that it is not even evil? Poor Perry!

I read that fanfic........I can never imagine doofy having a "truce" with Perry unless they have to fight a common enemy of sorts.

Re: Perry
Ooh, I've read it too! (What a coincidence, eh? )
I'm fairly sure that the "this scheme is so bad, I'm not even gonna bother stopping it" thing was only meant to be done once, and played for laughs. Then again, PaF has surprised me before...
