Tip of the Day

When the daily crossword puzzle brings one of the worlds most useful, yet under-appreciated inventions to Phineas and Ferb's attention, the boys set out to bring the plight of the shoelace tip, the "aglet", to the worlds attention, with their only obstacle being Candace, who relentlessly wishes to convince everyone that it doesn't matter, even when she tries to use their campaign to become an insta-star. Meanwhile, Perry's new mission is to erase Doofenshmirtz' viral video, however this time, it seems both he and Heinz have the same goal, even if Doofenshmirtz wants to take it to a slight extreme.

Awww i like the episode Tip of the day it was different yes but i thought the doofy bit was amusing!

In all seriousness, I liked this episode. I found the song quite catchy and actually reminiscent popular music, plus Monogram's line was priceless:

"Karl, there's nothing funny about a man in his underwear skating into a toilet. Now limericks- those are funny."

I remember having the "A-G-L-E-T-S" song stuck in my head for three days after it aired. It was so annoying.

I did eventually. After watching it a couple of times, I began to like it.

This was actually an awesome episode. I don't know if any of you read it (as I can't remember due to the TV.com forum on the episode being deleted. Roy... ) but Swampy stated this on the episode in an e-mail Roy sent him:

We thought "Tip of the Day" was just a great fun departure from the norm. We try to let the characters develope and we also try to give our writers/board artists a good deal of freedom to try new things. We just do our best to make sure that the characters remain true.

Anyways, again, an awesome episode, really.

I really like this episode. I mean, how can you not love an episode with 1/3 of the plot revolving around a college-age Doof roller-skating into a toilet? I mean it's pure genius! I really liked this one from the start, and the song is quite catchy too!

I still laugh at the whole Doofy rollerskating naked into the toilet scene. I cannot stop laughing........oh my God, what a maroon!

I was not previously aware that a color could be used as a derogatory name. 8D

Depressing episode was depressing. At the end.

I was actually trying to quote Bugs Bunny from "Looney Tunes" when I said that, but ok.

This is my favorite Phineas and Ferb plot [the Doof/Agent P plot could've been better]. It was just brilliance. AGLETS RULE!!!! The best gags were

It´s one of my favorite episodes (I´ve a lot of favorite episodes ). But the first time I´ve seen this episode I don´t understand what a Aglet is. And the funniest Thing is, that I don´t know how we call it in german. It´s a no-name thing.
Anyway, the episode is very funny. Doofys rollerskating-thing makes me hardly laugh. The song is awesome. Whenever I can I listen to it.

(I didn't even know it had a name in English before this! XD) I've always wanted to know how the song went in other languages though, but I can't find any other language versions on YouTube anywhere.

I think, the translation would be very difficult, 'cause other languages maybe doesn´t have a name for an aglet like in germany. I everytime asked myself, how Disney want to do that. I mean, if the Aglet has a name, I think it would be a long name. I think it isn´t possible to translate this episode in my and each other language (or maybe. I don´t know). But that´s make me really sad

I was very suprised when it first aired that so many disliked it... The fact that the whole episode glorifies something so meaningless is what makes it fun. I always love the humor in making a big thing out of nothing and vice versa (something that Doofenshmirtz seem to do in most episodes)
