    Blues is one of the few musical styles where a person can play a sad tune, sad lyrics, make everyone else feel partially sad, yet still be completely content with themselves. It is a shining example of the power of music.

    Blues is a very beautiful form of music, in my opinion. In college, I took a class in blues and jazz, and I find both to be very soothing (and sad), with songs of heartbreaks and such. Unless you really listen to it, you won't have a good appreciation of blues music.

    Anyone else likes blues or have a favorite blues singer?
