Phineas/Isabella

I've been in Isabella's place (that is, liking someone who takes no special intrest in you) and I can tell you from personal experience- it doesn't work. When one needs to constantly remind the other that they are cute, something is wrong.

Sorry for being such a Phinebella basher, but pesonally I'm old-fashioned and not a big fan of toy ships in general.

No, not at all, Chimneyvator. I do find, from personal experience, that people who need to be constantly reminded that they are "cute" or "special" or anything like that needs to seek help, as they are trying to get attention, and for others, it can be quite annoying, sometimes to the point where yo don't want to associate yourself with him or her.

Yeah. I did find Isabella's insistence that she is cute to be a bit annoying, but funny. I guess she is pretty desperate for Phineas' attention.

I'm new at this stuff so bare with me please, I adore these two together. While they may be kids we can at least slowly progress with them, I've seen kids romance before take number 4 and 3 from Kids Next Door, they liked each other at a young age. I guess will see where this goes later on. I at least want Isabell to confess her feelings to him than the show ends, so we can still think up what will happen next but know she confessed to him.

I like, at least for now, Phineas sort of playing "hard to get" with Isabella because, at least in my opinion, it makes watching the interactions between the two characters interesting.

I think that Phinbella is the greatest pair in the show. How often I wish, that Isabella says to Phineas that she has a crush on him...but she never did it. I love the Scene in Kamilian´s Comet, where Phineas said: "We can all show our grandchildrens. Oh, and my Mom will cook Steaks for everyone." (or so..)and Isabella answered "You had me at our grandchildrens". Why doesn´t Phineas see Isabella´s real feelings for him in these Moment? I think, that it will go on. Isabella said to Phineas that she is in love with him, he is also in love with her and both build a pair. Later Phineas and Isabella will be married. Okay, I think a little bit to big, but I love this imagine

I actually, as many of us on this forum, have wondered what would happen "IF" Isabella confessed to Phineas that she has a crush on him. From what I gathered, having watched Phineas in every episode of "Phineas and Ferb", he (Phineas) would not go all crazy at the notion. The most likely response to the confession by Isabella would be to remain calm and cool, as he always is, and maybe even acknowledge Isabella as "that's cool" or something like that. I know, to some, such a reaction would be a disappointment.

Yeah, it would be a big disappointment. But I think, it could be possible that Phineas must be older than now, so he can understand that Isabella has a crush on him. He must be 14 or 15 years old. Maybe he fell in love with Isabella at this time. I guess that Isabella would wait for him, wouldn´t she?

I think i might be the only one...but i dont like this couple..i think Phineas is too inoccent to even get the fact Isabella likes him.

I'm really not a huge fan either...

Mostly because I think they're WAY too young for the whole bf/gf thing. Crushes happen but that should be the extent of it at that age. So if anything ever happened to really make anything of this pairing, idk how excited I'd be...

I have to concur with the above two posters in this case. It would probably a few more years before Phineas actually realized that for all these years, Isabella had a crush on him. All of the times that Isabella asked Phineas "wat'cha doing?" were attempts by her to get close to Phineas, as well as other attempts, such in the episode "Out to Launch", where Isabella asked Phineas whether he wants to go to the "Night of the Falling Stars" dance. Poor Isabella has to wait a while before that realization comes.

Yeah, i personally think they wouldn't be ready for a relationship or anything like that. Phineas is probably oblivious to Isabella's crush on him mostly because he's a child. And some children don't notice those kind of things.

But i do wonder, if Phineas were to learn about Isabella's crush for him...how exactly would he react? It clearly hasn't crossed his mind, so once he figures out what's going on, would he actually return the emotions or just find is a bit awkward?

It does take some growing up for kids to realize that someone has or has been having a crush on them, because by that time, they are a little older (and mature) and can understand things better. Who knows, maybe Phineas will realize it when he gets older, which we, as fans, may never see happen.

Hopefully, an older Phineas will react better in terms of recognizing when someone has a crush on him.

I am guessing, to answer your question, DjangoKatie, that Roy did delete some of the posts because it was giving away what will happen in a future episode, and would prefer that everyone gets an equal (and more fair) chance to see the episode and then discuss it here. I am going to wait until the episode has aired and reserve dicsussion of it until everyone has seen it.

Not really, but like you, I would rather that we give everyone a fair and equal shot of seeing the episode before we can discuss it.

Personally, I liked being able to watch the episode weeks before it aired. But I understand why some would consider it a spoiler.

So, about Phineas and Isabella...

I think that if Phineas were to take time off his projects, he would see how Isabella felt about him. Because his first and preety much only thought of each day is to finnish his project, he isn't very aware of his surrrondings. Thta's also probably why he never notices Perry, or thinks too deeply to where he goes.

You know, that is very much possible, since Phineas is often too busy with his daiy activities/projects to realize that Isabella has a crush on him.
